"Trinidad North Steel Band Duo" is one of the most popular steel band groups in the MD, NJ, DE, PA, NYC areas. Leader, David Gettes is a master steelpan builder, tuner, musician and arranger. Since 1985, he has built many steel orchestra programs through out the United States and has won prestigious awards (Festival of Masters- Disney) for the tonal quality of the drums he builds. The duo is extremely tight and play an amazing variety of songs in the soca, calypso, reggae, rock, jazz, and genre.
