Virtual-Teens Who Code sponsored by ICIMS Girls Who Code (Session 1)

Virtual-Teens Who Code sponsored by ICIMS Girls Who Code (Session 1) In-Person

Girls Who Code (6th - 12th grades)

Have you heard the word "coding" and want to know what all the buzz is about? Do you want to know more about designing apps, or about using code to solve real-world problems and create a positive impact on your community? Welcome to Girls who Code, where you will learn the fundamental concepts of coding in a supportive and positive environment. We will explore the impact of computer science on the world around us, focusing on non-tech fields like medicine, art, and sports. Did you know that there are currently 500,000 open computing jobs in the U.S., but only 40,000 CS graduates every year? Girls Who Code will introduce you to some of these exciting careers and equip you with the coding basics that are necessary to pursue these 21st century opportunities. No prior coding experience necessary!

Girls Who Code is an organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential to our mission.

Please note this is a 4 part series
