Speaker Biography:  Jeanne Vloyanetes joined the faculty at Brookdale Community College in 1983.  After serving as a reference services librarian for many years, she became a full-time member of Brookdale’s history department in 2016.  Jeanne teaches courses in both world civilizations and American history.  Jeanne holds a Bachelor's degree in Classics from Douglass College, a Master's degree in library service from Rutgers University, and a Master's degree in history from Monmouth University.  Her history interests are varied for the generalist needs at Brookdale Community College. Most recently she has worked on projects about the Long Walls of classical Athens, Penelope Stout "The founding mother of Monmouth County," and the Woodstock Music and Art Festival of 1969.
