Movie Mondays In-Person

In celebration of Poetry Month, we are screening Paterson (2016, rated R, 1 h 58 m) starring Adam Driver, Golshifteh Farahani, Nellie; written & directed by Jim Jarmusch: "Beauty is often found in the smallest details" (IMDB). This movie follows one routine week in the life of a Paterson bus driver, also named Paterson, who writes poetry in a secret journal. The New Jersey Book Club will be reading and discussing William Carlos Williams' long-poem "Paterson" the next week on Monday, April 13th (12 pm in the History Room), which features prominently in the movie.
