Savings & Investing: Financial Literacy for Adults In-Person

Join us for this introductory program about saving and informed investing featuring Colin Dennis. It focuses on some of the challenges facing investors; avoiding investment pitfalls; the questions people should ask when investing; and applying for and maintaining credit cards. We then provide some resources for people who may have experienced fraud.

Colin Dennis is a third-year student at the Seton Hall University School of Law. He is also a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) Investor Advocacy Project. The FINRA Program at Seton Hall is one of 10 securities arbitration clinics throughout the United States. In addition to representing retail investors of modest means, the group travels throughout New Jersey giving presentations regarding financial literacy and informed investing.
