DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to a conversation with Bill Bodei\, President 
 of the Deep Cut Orchid Society\, to discuss the basics of growing orchids. 
 This session will cover a range of topics from basic orchid care (aka 
 culture) to repotting\, as well as tips on buying.\n\n**Speaker 
 BIO**\n\nMiddletown Resident\, Bill Bodei\, is the President of Deep Cut 
 Orchid Society. Bill is also an active volunteer for the American Orchid 
 Society serving on The Board of Trustees for the past 6 years\, as well as 
 chair of the AOS Membership and Marketing Committee. Bill received the AOS 
 President's award in 2020\, and helped the AOS manage through the pandemic 
 with a number of programs and initiatives.  Bill's wife Deb also volunteers 
 for the American Orchid Society\, and is an active judge in the AOS 
 Northeast Judging Center.  From Bill..."I have probably made every rookie 
 mistake possible\, and hope that sharing some of my experiences will help 
 others become better orchid growers too.
