ZOOM a Scientist: "Biomedical Engineering - from bike helmets to broken hips" In-Person
Emily Bliven is a mechanical and biomedical engineer whose international experience ranges from bicycle helmets to bone biomechanics testing. Today, she will talk about her research to date, how injury can be studied in a lab, and what's required to build technologies that help repair and protect the human body. She is a faculty member of the University of British Columbia in Canada.
Ms. Bliven welcomes questions.
This program is best suited for grades 5-12. Registration is required in order to get the Zoom link. This event will be recorded.
