Family Scrapbooking - Community History Project In-Person

Join us in creating a family scrapbook as part of MTPL's Community History Project! Bring in your family photos, both old and new, and teach your children and/or grandchildren about your childhood and some of your favorite things growing up. Talk about what you liked to do as a kid- your favorite sport, favorite place to get ice cream, favorite beach spot, or favorite thing to do with your friends. If you grew up in Middletown, tell them about what it was like when you were growing up and how things might be different (or still the same) now all while creating a beautiful scrapbook to preserve those memories!

MTPL's Community History Project seeks to encourage people to participate in their local history by sharing and preserving their memories of Middletown. We hope this event sparks conversations and memory-sharing between different generations of family members.

PLEASE NOTE:

-Mini scrapbooks, glue, stickers, markers, and other decorating/scrapbooking supplies will be provided.

-We encourage you to bring family photos to add to your personal scrapbook. We will NOT be able to print photos for you- please have them printed out beforehand. You may also choose to draw pictures to add to your scrapbook.
