Genealogy Club - Mary Lish and NJRPG In-Person
Mary Lish of the New Jersey Records Preservation Group will join us to give a brief overview of the accomplishments of NJRPG with regard to cemetery, church, and funeral home records, and newspaper obits. She will talk about how they got started and how it mushroomed into the current data collection.
Join our Genealogy Club where we discuss the strategies and techniques of researching your family tree, share tips on overcoming brick walls, lend support, and give encouragement. We'll focus on a particular topic for the first half and then open it up for discussion and questions. Beginners are encouraged to attend along with experienced genealogists. Bring your laptops and any resource material you may want to share. Co-sponsored by the Monmouth County Genealogy Society. Registration encouraged but not required - in-person in the library's History Room.
