Adult Zining Workshop - Collage Poetry In-Person
Join us for this special workshop with Angelica Recierdo where we'll create our own poetry using collage and black-out techniques. Registration is encouraged since space and supplies are limited.
What's a zine? Pronounced "zeen", they are self-published by creators motivated to share knowledge, experiences, and opinions on a variety of topics. They can be any size and any length; they can be written, drawn or collaged; they empower the reader as well as the creator; they also never have to be shared with anyone else. Join our adult zining group to learn about zines, read a few, and try your hand at creating one or two - no "artistic" skills needed; all supplies provided. Upcoming adult zining workshops alternate each month between the 4th Wednesday at 1pm and the 4th Thursday at 6:30pm. Check the calendar for specific dates.
